What I do
As a therapist I support people who feel stuck in their personal or family lives due to feeling depressed, anxious, hurt, hopeless, or angry. All of these issues can make you feel discouraged and our lives become more difficult to manage. But, don’t get discouraged. Very often pain in our lives is a necessary component for change and growth even if it does not look like that at this moment.
I am compassionate, empathetic, down to earth, sometimes funny but also direct. If you are okay with getting honest feedback, then we can be a good fit. I have had my own struggles and I know that working on yourself or your relationships can be extremely hard and to not make it even harder, I try my best to make it as comfortable as possible for you.
I best work with people who struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar d/o, borderline personality d/o, trauma, self-worth issues, substance abuse, numbing behaviors, anger, relationship problems, life transitions, and multicultural issues.
After receiving my graduate degree in Linguistics and Education, I moved from Russia to Los Angeles, CA where I lived for six years. A year after receiving my MS in Professional Counseling, I moved to Erie, PA where I got my professional counseling license.
Currently I live in Fairview, PA with my husband, our son, and our hyperactive, food motivated, and loud dog Marley. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, and learning new things about life and people.
